Today we made macaroni noodle necklaces to symbolize what the Wapanoag people would have probably worn to their First Thanksgiving Feast with the Pilgrims. We will wear them tomorrow to our Thanksgiving Mass. Please come and join us as we celebrate everything we are thankful for. It was fun. We used math skills to divide. We had to figure out how many noodles of each color we would get to use and then we used our pattern skills. We all agreed that the rubbing alcohol was a bit stinky, but when we mixed it with food coloring and then colored the noodles we saw science in action!! Super cool!
